The problem with the current Spotify session is that it’s very inconvenient and forces people to exit the app to their text messenger. My solution is to take advantage of built-in NFC chips commonly used for apple pay and media sharing to create a seamless “tap” to join feature that pays homage to the physicality of analog music sharing.

Creating a persona, helped me understand who I was creating for and why a positive change needs to happen in the current app

After interviewing several people, I brainstormed current functionalities of the application and how people use the app in their daily lives

After my research phase, I found that users often like to take advantage of the sessions sharing feature, but hate the current functionality due to its innefficiency
